The mesmerizing waterfalls, the lush green mountains are home to end number of birds, animals and plants. Nicknamed as Gateway to Malnad, this place is a magical wardrobe to nothing short of a dreamland. The picturesque surrounding will leave you spell bound through the adventure journeys that will unfold. You might also want to keep an eye for some facinating pugmarks!

The area is nothing short of a lush green foliage and rich colours during most parts of the year. Our zoo is attached to Shettihalli Wildlife Sanctuary making it a rich heritage to indigenous flora and fauna. Although we are a small zoo spread over an area of 12 hectares, we conserve and care for about 109 animals belonging to 18 species. We are supported by Malnad Area Development Board (MADB), Mysore Paper Mill (MPM) Ltd., Bhadravathi, Karnataka Forest Department and other few voluntary organisations.

For any wildlife lover, a museum visit is a mandate. Learning the history of our flora and fauna, having awareness on conservation and educating oneself on wildlife conservation is the aim of this space. We have a museum at our safari and zoo that will impart knowledge on our rich flora and fauna and our wildlife histories.
