On the occasion of International Biodiversity Day, students from PESIT College participated in a program aimed at raising awareness about biodiversity conservationand mission life .

The event began with a session on biodiversity conservation, where  spoke about the importance of protecting the environment and the various initiatives taken towards biodiversity conservation. The students were encouraged to play an active role in protecting the environment and biodiversity by adopting sustainable practices.

Following the session, the students participated in a cleanliness drive around the zoo boundary, aimed at creating awareness about the need to preserve ecosystems. The students were provided with gloves and trash bags and worked in teams to collect trash and litter from the area. The cleanliness drive was an opportunity for the students to learn about the importance of waste management and its impact on the environment.

Throughout the event, the students were actively engaged in activities that highlighted the value of biodiversity and its significance in preserving the planet's natural resources. The event was a great success, and the students left with a deep sense of appreciation for the environment and the need to conserve it.
